Teeth alignment

Teeth alignment has no age limit. Anyone can have beautiful and straight teeth. More and more adults are opting to straighten their teeth for aesthetic and preventive reasons.

The goal of teeth alignment in adults is to improve the appearance and achieve the maximum aesthetic effect of the lower third of the face and the face as a whole by establishing the proper shape and harmony of the teeth.

At Dental Medicine Practice, we use the teeth alignment technique of the so-called straight arch on metal or ceramic and composite brackets which come in a natural tooth colour and are glued to the outer surfaces of the teeth.

In invisible discrete tooth alignment systems, brackets are glued to the inside of the teeth. Teeth can also be aligned with a comfortable and discreet invisible system using computer programmed aligners which are inserted by patients themselves.

Before the teeth alignment procedure begins, X-rays are taken and dental impressions are made, on the basis of which situational and study models are created.

Teeth alignment in adults takes from a few months to a year and a half, depending on the degree of the tooth irregularity. After the teeth alignment treatment has been completed, it is important to prevent the teeth from shifting back to their original position by using retainers.
