Yxoss CBR (Customized Bone Regeneration) is a customized titanium scaffold developed to regenerate complex bone defects combining the benefits of 3D imaging, design tools and 3D printing.<\/p>\n

The designed structure of the titanium scaffold determines with extreme precision the contour of the alveolar ridge which needs to be prepared for subsequent dental implant placement.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Based on CBCT-images, the scaffold is customized for every patient individually and is 3D printed of the purest titanium.<\/p>\n

When the mesh proves suitable for the patient, it is filled with biomaterial and autologous bone, and is fixed to the existing bone with two titanium screws.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Yxoss CBR offers numerous benefits over other alternatives of bone augmentation procedures in complex bone defects.<\/p>\n

Precisely because it is custom-made for each patient, no further mid-surgery adaptations of the scaffold\u2019s form are needed which simplifies the preparations and shortens the duration of the surgical procedure.<\/p>\n

The edges of these titanium mesh structures, furthermore, are not sharp which eliminates the possibility of any subsequent problems and ensures uninterrupted healing.<\/p>\n

Yxoss CBR is customized with extreme precision and its configuration creates space for uninterrupted bone regeneration and ensures enough bone for a long lasting stability of the dental implant. Yxoss CBR used in combination with the Geistlich biomaterials offers the optimal functional and aesthetic efficiency and therapeutic safety.<\/p>\n

After four to six months, when the bone has healed, the Yxoss CBR may be removed. What is important for the patients is that the removal of the scaffold and the implant placement may be performed simultaneously.<\/p>\n

Special caution is recommended only with patients suffering from autoimmune diseases, are undergoing radiation and chemotherapy, with smokers and generally with patients with uncontrolled metabolic disorders.<\/p>\n
